POLICY ON CANCELLATIONS OF APPOINTMENTS/NO-SHOW
EFFECTIVE SEPTEMBER 1, 2020.
This policy has been established in order to give the highest level of veterinary care to all of our patients. By providing us notice of a cancellation, we may be able to accommodate other patients with your appointment slot. When you do not show up for a scheduled appointment, it creates an unused appointment slot that could have been used for another patient.
** It is very important that you call in advance to cancel your appointment. **
FOR OUR VALUED CLIENTS:
● Established clients who fail to show or cancel/reschedule an appointment and have not contacted our office with at least ONE hours notice will be considered a NO SHOW. If for any reason you need to cancel an appointment, please notify our office as soon as possible.
● If a client has TWO No Show or cancellation/reschedule with no notice, the client will be required to pre-pay the exam fee to reserve their third scheduled visit. The fee is charged to the client and is due at the time of rescheduling.
● As a courtesy, when time allows, we utilize phone calls, emails and text messages as appointment reminders. If you do not receive a reminder call, email and text message, the above Policy remains in effect.
WE UNDERSTAND THERE MAY BE TIMES WHEN AN UNFORESEEN EMERGENCY OCCURS AND YOU ARE UNABLE TO KEEP YOUR SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT. IF THIS IS THE CASE, YOU MAY CONTACT PIONEER VETERINARY SERVICES 24 HOURS A DAY, 7 DAYS A WEEK AT THE NUMBER OR E-MAILS BELOW AND WE WILL CONSIDER AN EXCEPTION TO THIS POLICY.
